Spelt is an ancient grain which has been referred to as “The Grandfather Of Wheat” as it is a cousin of the wheat grain.
Spelt flour is more easily digested than wheat and is often tolerated by those with “Gluten Sensitivity”. Though not completely gluten free spelt flour is naturally lower in gluten but please research, test & check first before trying as your individual results may vary.
