Made from brown rice (unhulled rice kernels), this is a light flour that is highly nutritious and easy to digest. It lends a nutty flavour to food and can be substituted for wheat flour in many dishes. Great for sauces, coating food, making noodles, cereals, desserts and snacks or mixed with other flours for baking projects such as breads, cookies and pastries.
The mild flavour of rice flour is suitable for both sweet & savoury cooking. Blended 20% - 50% with other flours it produces excellent results. Too much & the bread tends to crumble.
