Coconut Oil Toothpaste

• 1 Cup Blue Coconut Organic Virgin Oil or Blue Coconut Cooking Oil
• 2-3 Tbsp Baking Soda
• 1/2 Cup DE (Diatomaceous Earth) - read up on & buy on link 
• 10 drops of Essential Oils Food Grade (peppermint, cinnamon and orange are the yummiest) or 1 Tsp organic peppermint powder
• 1 TBSP of raw organic honey or can use small amount of stevia if you require sweetness
• 1/2 Tsp Organic Ground Cloves

Instructions

1. Melt the coconut oil on a low heat(not in the microwave).
2. Remove from heat once melted, and stir in baking soda & DE
3. Add the honey or Stevia if using for sweetener(honey also has medicinal properties)
4. Add Essential oils or peppermint powder for taste & ground clove for taste & medicinal properties.
5. Whisk or blend until well combined & pour into small containers for use at home, on the road etc.

Notes

To brush, wet your toothbrush, and dip it in the paste, or scoop a small amount on with a spoon if you want to avoid "double-dipping." Weather dependant on how easy to get out so spoon may be easier to get small peice out then pop in mouth to partially melt before brushing with.  My dogs line up to get their teeth brushed with this mix it's that good.  :)
