AGRIA - mild and earthy with a floury, fluffy, and starchy texture. Best suited for cooked applications such as baking, mashing, frying, roasting, chipping, and boiling.
JERSEY BENNE - Early harvest waxy potato, perfect for boiling, salads and casseroles. White flesh.
WAIPOROPORO - light purple mottled skin and a smooth creamy flesh. This is a medium sized very firm potato that is excellent for boiling, salads, chips and roasting.
ROCKET - very quick growing early potato with white flesh and skin. It is a great boiling and roasting.
RED SKIN - The color in re potatoes is due to anthocyanains, a common pigment which is associated with being rich in antioxidants and anti-inflammatories. Antioxidants make the spuds more nutritious and a diet rich in antioxidants helps to lower your risk of cancer. Red potato varieties are also a good source of vitamin B6; are fat, sodium and cholesterol free; and are an excellent source of potassium – even more than a banana!
PURPLE POTATO - denser texture and slightly nuttier, earthier flavor than white potatoes. They are highly nutritious, better for and may improve blood sugar, packed with antioxidants and reduce risk of cancer.
CANBERRA - a new medium-late maturing variety with an attractive red skin, and medium dry matter content. Canberra's delicious flavour distinguishes it from traditional red potatoes that generally offer more color than flavour.
